Agree the work package

• Application requirements, constraints and baseline performance.
• Material selection, sample quantities and prototype geometry.
• Test methods, reporting format and decision points.
• Responsibilities for drawings, tooling, intellectual property and scale-up.

Document the transition to supply

When a development route is selected, convert the result into a controlled material or component specification. Record the grade, processing conditions, inspection plan and any restrictions on use. Commercial terms and ownership arrangements are agreed for the individual project.
