Electrical and Thermal Insulation

Combine ceramic textile forms with the geometry of cables, thermocouples, pipelines and hot equipment.

Protect wires and shaped components

The fiber brochure identifies thermal and electrical insulation around thermocouple wires and cables. Braided sleeves provide tubular coverage; tapes wrap localized areas; fabrics can be sewn into covers and insulating curtains.

Braided textile forms can be specified around cables and shaped components.

Choose an assembly, not only a fiber

Specify voltage, service temperature, moisture, abrasion and the surrounding materials. Coatings, seams and attachment points influence the finished assembly. The brochures do not provide dielectric breakdown ratings for complete cable or sleeve systems.

Additional insulation formats

Needled blankets and fiber paper are also described for acoustic insulation, high-temperature seals and filtration. Confirm the thickness and mechanical support required for each installation.
