Braided Sleeve
Description
Braided continuous alumina fiber sleeving forms a flexible protective cover for pipes, wires and other elongated components. Its tubular construction accommodates different diameters while retaining a low-mass ceramic insulation layer.

PERFORMANCE
Thermal protection, electrical insulation and expansion behavior are determined by yarn composition, braid angle and installed diameter. No pressure-containment rating is implied by a braided sleeve.
CUSTOMIZATION
Custom diameters of 1.5–80 mm and linear weights of 1.6–180 g/m are listed. Biaxial and triaxial braid arrangements can be discussed.

Tubular braids can be evaluated for thermal protection around pipelines and for fabricated packing seals. Specify the installed diameter and required expansion so the braid fits the component.
CERTIFICATION
Specify the required technical data sheet, batch certificate of analysis and application test reports in your inquiry. Certification scope must be confirmed for the selected grade and manufacturing site; company management-system credentials do not replace product qualification.
