Sewing Thread and Braided Rope
Description
Alumina fiber sewing thread and braided rope join, reinforce and seal high-temperature textile assemblies. Thread is offered for stitching, while rope provides a thicker flexible element for gaskets and expansion joints.

The ML-series and S-F/R-F series use different constructions and values. Select by the full model designation; no equivalence between series is implied.
PERFORMANCE
Knot-strength figures apply to the listed thread constructions. Service temperature and seam durability depend on the fiber grade, coating, stitch design and thermal cycle.
CUSTOMIZATION
Thread diameters of 0.3–0.7 mm are available for discussion. Special coatings and organic reinforcement can aid processing; their temperature limits must be considered separately.

For fabricated textile assemblies, specify the seam or packing geometry and any coating requirements. Typical development applications include flexible seals, expansion joints and thermal insulation pads.
CERTIFICATION
Specify the required technical data sheet, batch certificate of analysis and application test reports in your inquiry. Certification scope must be confirmed for the selected grade and manufacturing site; company management-system credentials do not replace product qualification.
