Precision Ceramic Components
Application & material guidance
Precision Ceramic Components
Combine ceramic material selection with a forming and finishing route suited to the part. Morlion’s Chinese site describes precision ceramic, metal and composite processing for industrial components.
From feedstock to component
Nano alumina powder and slurries support forming and sintering development. The machining route then depends on hardness, brittleness, geometry and required finish. Morlion describes precision grinding and ceramic injection molding for suitable complex components.
Applications
- Electrical insulators and electronic substrates.
- Ceramic seals, crucibles and equipment components.
- Composite tubes and protective structures.
- Process-specific components for energy and industrial equipment.
Start with a drawing and acceptance criteria
Provide material grade, dimensions, datum scheme, tolerances, surface finish and inspection requirements. Listed machining capabilities are not a blanket tolerance guarantee for every material and geometry. Prototype and batch requirements should be reviewed separately.
