Alumina Fiber Paper

SKU: 108 Category:

Description

Thin inorganic alumina fiber paper provides a flexible ceramic barrier for high-temperature insulation and composite processing. The Morlion construction described here uses a mechanically consolidated fiber network without an organic binder.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Lightweight and flexible sheet
  • Thin thermal and electrical barrier
  • Suitable for cutting and lamination

SPECIFICATION

Property Specification
Model 1600 Alumina Fiber Paper
Al₂O₃ / SiO₂ 70–85% / 15–30%
Combined oxide content 99.5%
Classification / long-term service temperature 1600°C / 1500°C
Fiber diameter 5 µm
Thickness 0.2–1 mm
Areal weight 60–200 g/m²

PERFORMANCE

Test condition Brochure value
24 h shrinkage at 1300°C 0.52%
24 h shrinkage at 1500°C 0.98%
Thermal conductivity at 600°C 0.16 W/(m·K)
At 800°C 0.20 W/(m·K)
At 1000°C 0.32 W/(m·K)
At 1200°C 0.46 W/(m·K)

Values apply to the Morlion paper described in the brochure. Binder-containing papers from other product ranges require their own data sheets.

CUSTOMIZATION

Specify thickness, areal weight, sheet dimensions and cutting or lamination requirements.

APPLICATION

  • High-temperature sealing and filtration
  • Ceramic and resin composite processing
  • Battery module thermal barrier development
  • Thermal insulation and acoustic layers

CERTIFICATION

Specify the required technical data sheet, batch certificate of analysis and application test reports in your inquiry. Certification scope must be confirmed for the selected grade and manufacturing site; company management-system credentials do not replace product qualification.
