Alumina Sol
Description
An alumina sol precursor for ceramic processing, refractory binding and oxide composite development. A liquid precursor format supports distribution of the ceramic phase through a formulation or porous preform.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Liquid ceramic precursor
- Adjustable formulation
- Inorganic oxide chemistry

PERFORMANCE
Flow and ceramic-conversion behavior depend on solids, pH, formulation and heat treatment. The reference editions differ in their sol codes and viscosity units; agree the current viscosity specification and measurement method with the quotation.
CUSTOMIZATION
Custom solids content and viscosity can be discussed. State the substrate, process, target ceramic phase and storage requirements.
APPLICATION
- Ceramic precursor processing
- Refractory binders
- Composite matrix development
CERTIFICATION
Specify the required technical data sheet, batch certificate of analysis and application test reports in your inquiry. Certification scope must be confirmed for the selected grade and manufacturing site; company management-system credentials do not replace product qualification.
